I have spent the last 42 years of my life designing 'Time-Saving' products at Applied Computer Systems, Inc. I named my latest patented product FileButler, for obvious reasons. It is all about file names, and how we view files today. FileButler turns the filing system UPSIDE-DOWN, empties the folders of their content (metaphorically, of course) and displays the computer's filenames you select on ONE screen. You select the extension type of filenames you want populated in what column.
WHY Should You Purchase FileButler?
I am one of those people who want to know what the product will do for me before making the purchase. This eliminates the return cycle. Since I am efficiency-oriented, why not "Just give me the Facts." This is what Dragnet's Sgt. Friday would say in the black & white days of television. I use FileButler many times each hour. Spending time locating lost filenames is eliminated. I can load a file, view a picture and play music, each with a double-click on any of 200 viewable filenames. Simple, intuitive and fast!
You can 'Call' for your FileButler by moving your mouse to either side of your monitor screen at any time -- your FileButler will appear. All of your filenames are displayed on one computer screen. This eliminates looking through disc drives, folders and more folders for your files. FileButler does that for you. You select what filenames you want in each column, sorted by date, size or alphabetically. I use the Date sort as shown above. It makes common sense. FileButler can find these files faster than the way we find them today. I have over 50,000 file names (.doc, .xls, .jpg, .pdf, mp3, you name the extension) on my XP Windows Desktop computer with two thumb drives and one server. It took FileButler about one minute to find all my filenames. You only have to do this once. When you save a file, FileButler will put it at the top of the list, when using the Date order sorting of filenames. Personally, I use the Full Version of FileButler as shown above, Yes, it works with laptop computers also.
